Victories at Blade Spring 2023.

TUOTOWN products participate every year in spring and fall in the exhibition "Klinok".

 

This is an international event where every willing craftsman can prove himself, take part in the competition. Despite the worthy competition, our knives won in several nominations.

Our products won everyone. We use the best heat treatment, optimal materials and the latest technologies to make our knives so that everyone who uses our product will be delighted.

 
 

First degree

 

XIUCAI 129001 knife became our winner in the nomination "Chef-knife", 220-300 mm. The blade is made of VG10 steel (Japanese tool steel), allows to keep sharpening for a long time and is used by professionals. The lining is made of damask, which in turn has a number of advantages: strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and comfort (products do not stick). But it is also a demanding and fastidious material that requires care. The handle is made of G10, which makes it lightweight, durable and hard. The textured material provides a firm and non-slip grip, while the ergonomic shape is comfortable and convenient for working with any product. Hardness 60 HRC.

 

 

 

Second degree

 

The second degree of the contest was awarded to 2 of our knives at once, but in different nominations.


So, in the nomination "Short kitchen knife", 75-150 mm, the second place was taken by the Chinese forged traditional knife 905011. 

It is fair, because for its manufacturing optimal materials and technologies were used, and the design of this collection of knives conquered everyone. 

The blade is made of carbon steel, created especially for this series (analog AUS 10). The handle is made of Wenge wood. Hardness of the blade: 60 HRC.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Another knife that was honored with the second place - Sang Dao in the "National Knife" nomination. This hatchet knife won the hearts of everyone at Klink. Its multifunctionality, ergonomics and modern design won the hearts of the visitors. What is the secret? The material of the blade is made of VG10, which in its turn keeps sharpening for a long time. The cover is still made of softer metal - damask. The handle is characterized by a pleasant material for the hand and perfectly fits in the hand, providing comfort and convenience when working. Silicone allows you to securely grip the handle, thus creating a safe working environment with a sharp tool. Steel hardness: 60 HRC.

 

 

 

Third degree

 

The honorable third place went to the knife "Shishi 615008" in the nomination "Short kitchen knife", 

75-150 mm. The blade of this knife is made of VG10,

 sheathed in damask, as in the previous series. The handle of Santoku 615008 is made similarly of G10, 

ergonomic handle provides comfortable work with the tool. The hardness of steel is 60 HRC.
